Army Chief General Aziz Ahmed has said that the army must be prepared to face any threat.

Corps reunion ceremony at the Armored Corps Center and School in Bogra Cantonment
on Thursday morning.
'The army is set up as a symbol of independence,
sovereignty and people's confidence,' he said. Our members have achieved good
reputation throughout the world by successfully carrying out their duties in
peace mission. '
Recalling the tribute of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the best Bengali nation of a thousand years, the army chief said that the members of the armored arm of the army were 'Pran Dibo, Mann Noy'.
The members of this corps have participated
proficiently in any disaster situation in the country and in the UN peacekeeping mission.
General Aziz also said that members of this corps had
a glorious role in the Great War of Independence. She expressed strong hope
that the Bangladesh Army will become more modern and modern in the near future
due to the wisdom, prudence and foresight of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Earlier, he visited the Sixth Armored Corps reunion
march and received greetings.
Retired and retired officers of the Armored Corps,
along with military and civilian officers, and other designated members were
present on the occasion.
At the press briefing, he said that a large number of
Rohingya has come from Myanmar in Bangladesh. They are kept in confined
spaces.
They are illegally trying to travel to various places,
including foreign. The army is working to protect and monitor these seven
camps, controlling their free movement. A barge fence will be provided at the
Rohingya camp. Their activities will be controlled, including security.

তিনি বলেন, 'স্বাধীনতা, সার্বভৌমত্ব রক্ষা ও মানুষের আস্থার প্রতীক হিসেবে সেনাবাহিনী প্রতিষ্ঠিত। শান্তি মিশনে আমাদের সদস্যরা সফলতার সঙ্গে দায়িত্ব পালন করে সারা বিশ্বে সুনাম অর্জন করেছে।' হাজার বছরের শ্রেষ্ঠ বাঙালি জাতির পিতা বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানকে গভীর শ্রদ্ধার সঙ্গে স্মরণ করে সেনাবাহিনী প্রধান বলেন, সেনাবাহিনী সাঁজোয়া কোরের সদস্যরা 'প্রাণ দেব, মান নয়' মূলমন্ত্রে উজ্জীবিত। এই কোরের সদস্যরা দেশের অভ্যন্তরীণ যে কোনো দুর্যোগময় মুহূর্তে ও জাতিসংঘে শান্তি রক্ষা মিশনে দক্ষতার সঙ্গে অংশগ্রহণ করেছে।
জেনারেল আজিজ আরও বলেন, মহান স্বাধীনতা যুদ্ধে এই কোরের সদস্যরা গৌরবোজ্জ্বল ভূমিকা রেখেছেন। প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনার প্রজ্ঞা, বিচক্ষণতা ও দূরদর্শিতায় অদূর ভবিষ্যতে বাংলাদেশ সেনাবাহিনী আরও যুগোপযোগী ও আধুনিক হয়ে গড়ে উঠবে বলে তিনি দৃঢ় আশাবাদ ব্যক্ত করেন।
এর আগে তিনি ষষ্ঠ সাঁজোয়া কোর পুনর্মিলনী কুচকাওয়াজ পরিদর্শন এবং অভিবাদন গ্রহণ করেন। অনুষ্ঠানে সামরিক ও বেসামরিক কর্মকর্তাসহ আর্মার্ড কোরের অবসরপ্রাপ্ত ও চাকরিরত কর্মকর্তা এবং অন্যান্য পদবির সদস্যরা উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
এদিকে প্রেসব্রিফিংয়ে তিনি বলেন, বাংলাদেশে বিপুলসংখ্যক রোহিঙ্গা এসেছে মিয়ানমার থেকে। তাদের সীমিত জায়গার মাঝে রাখা হয়েছে। তারা অবৈধভাবে বিদেশসহ বিভিন্ন জায়গায় যাওয়ার চেষ্টা করছে। এই সাতটি ক্যাম্প সুরক্ষা, তাদের অবাধ গতিবিধি নিয়ন্ত্রণ ও পর্যবেক্ষণের জন্য সেনাবিাহিনী কাজ করছে। রোহিঙ্গা ক্যাম্পে কাঁটাতারের বেড়া দেওয়া হবে। নিরাপত্তা দেওয়াসহ তাদের গতিবিধি নিয়ন্ত্রণ করা হবে।Courtesy: samakal.com
